BIO

I'm a physician-scientist trainee from Texas, born to immigrant parents from Bangladesh and Peru. I studied physics and math at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, contributing to research in fields including nanoscience and physical-chemistry. After pursuing a medical degree at McGovern Medical School, I became interested in artificial intelligence and completed a PhD in Quantitative Sciences, where I applied AI to improve cancer diagnosis and treatment. Currently, I'm a post-doctoral fellow studying the role of human-machine interaction in AI-based radiotherapy decision-making. My future plans include returning to medical school and applying for post-graduate medical training.
